What is a good??

I have relatively straight hair, more like wavy/POOF.....I use a flat iron alot, but I also really like to "scrunch" it. Is there a really good shampoo/conditioner and moose/gel that would work for curling hair just for the day? I use gel and hair spray now but it doesn't last long enough, I want it to be curly and last all day. I thought about trying John Frieda shampoo/conditioner for curly hair, I use that "straight ahead" shampoo/conditioner, but it's kind of expensive and I don't want to buy it if it doesn't work like I'm thinking it would. Any suggestions...no I don't need a perm or anything : ) Thanks

buy curlers. The ones you can leave in your hair. You can either get the cheap ones(they have foam in the center) that require no heat, or the ones that you heat up and put in your hair. Any shampoo for curly hair does not work well and will not make it last all day. The curlers will help last longer depending if your hair is stick straight or not. Wash your hair well and put the hair gel, mousse works better, in it and then separate your hair into sections and you roll your hair up in the curlers. Once your all finished, hair spray it and then wear it throughout the night. You can even sleep on it and if you have them on there pretty good they shouldn't fall out. When you wake up in the morning take the curlers out and then hairspray again. With the Hot curlers that you leave in, it should only take an hour to work so whichever works best. Try them both if you'd like

I am simply impressed because I do that to!! Report It

What is a good??

making your hair curly is very simple and cheap, and will last all day with no products at all

shampoo and condition as usual, dry your hair till almost dry but not completely, take strips of cloth-i use an old towel cut up into 1" wide strips, about 8" long. i have hair right down my back. take a section of hair about an inch or so wide, twist it round from tip to root, tillits almost tight, wind the end round the "rag" rolling it all the way up to your scalp, and tie ends together-this will get easier with practise, do this with all your hair, blast with the hairdryer, leave to finish drying naturally or you can even sleep with these in, take them out and you will have lovely big spirally curls, its easy
