I can't use mousse, hair spray, or gel for my staticy hair cause if I do I get worse dandruff so what else can i do to stop the static?

spritz a little water on your hairbrush before you use it. that cuts down on some of the static.

rub a bounce sheet on your hair it really works just get a nice smelling one like vanilla

Do the man's method. Use some SALIVA! :) What, it takes like two seconds to work up some saliva, hack it into your hand and dab it on your staticky hair. Problem solved!....I'll go hide in a cave now.

try using some john fried frizz serum, or maybe a better conditioner

If it truly is static and not frizz, then you can rub a dryer sheet over it. seriously, it works. My mom did it to me all the time when I was little.

try using a glossing or polishing spray. they usually are made up of a diluted thin oil, that should weigh down the static while at the same time leaving you with shiny static free hair!

you can also try taking a laundry dryer sheet and rubbing that into your hair, this should also help kill the static.

for your scalp try something with tea tree in it

Aveda, anti humectant, it's like a greast, only use a dime size through the ends. It won't cause any dandruff at the root of your hair.

Hey, I have the same problem and it's because of the humidity. There's a product that you can pick up from your salon. It's called Biosilk Silk Therapy by Farouk Systems. You just put a dab on your palm and rub with hands to warm. It also spreads over your hair easier. It doesn't weigh down your hair or make it greasy and it smells great too.

I had the same problem till I went and bought the anti static spay. Its in the laundry isle at the grocery store. Spray your clothes, your comb, your brush, and dont use leave in conditioners. Its called Static guard. try it, it works. I spray it on my brush and then brush it thru my hair.
