If you made it "correctly" and the "chamber" that holds the "gas" is air-tight after filling (no leaks) and the potatoe fills the end (barrel) We aways used Aqua-Net hair spray, this stuff worked great,just DO NOT OVERFILL!!!! And we used a spark igniter from a old gas grill as the "trigger"(drilled a hole the size of the igniter and installed it in the end of the "gas chamber"so when we clicked the igniter it fired the gun) We did this and the potatoe went thru the garage wall,traveled 20 ft and went thru the neighbors garage wall and caved in the rear quarter panel on his car,It really did a lot of damage,so be very careful and if you are not of legal age you shouldn't really be messing with it,they can be lethal if you should hit somebody just right and with high velosity behind it.
