How can I get pretty, loose curls?

I have slightly wavy, dark brown hair. Its pretty long, and between thin and medium (thickness)I usually straighten it, blow dry it, or scrunch it, and I want to try something different.

(I have hair curlers, a curling iron, and a blowdryer. I also have hair spray and mousse, but i will buy whatever is needed!!)

use a barrel whichever size you want, the bigger you go the looser the waves will be. Hold the iron vertically facing up. DO NOT USE THE CLAMP. that is the number one key point in creating this look. one holding the iron vertically, section hair off and wrap a small section around, just wind it down..it should never be wrapped directly on top, it should be spread out..into a spiral down the barrel. hold, for about 5-10 seconds if the iron is very hot, and release.

then spritz at the end.
