My hair won't scrunch!!! It is really cold so I can't air dry my hair. How can I scrunch it?? Any tips??
Use a diffuser on the end of your blowdryer to dry your hair while scrunching.
just take your fingers and rub through
your hair vigorously
make little balls with your hair then release. you should try
to put a blowdryer on low to your hair

i curl my hair with a curling iron and it loses its curl in a few hours,what can I use? I just got my hair layed so i like the flippy curl look I get with the curling iron but it wont hold up
It all depends on the density of your hair .....Fine hair needs a lighter spray....courser hair needs a firmer hold....Redkin has a product called Hot sets.....I use it for prom styles in my salon....It always holds the hair, but it is ultra firm.
The whole Garnier Fructis line is amazing.
Try using their mousse, I find it works well to keep my curls.
Its called Got2be and you con get it at your local drugstore. It keeps the curl but its not rock hard!

use a small barrel curling iron
when you are finished.. use a very strong hairspray
I have uber straight hair that's semi hard to style and hold, but before I use a curling iron on my hair, I use the curl forming soft curl cream from Garnier after drying my hair. Then after my hair cools down I spray my hair with tons of hair spray, and after the hair spray dries, I scrunch my hair a bit to make it look more natural!

I recently got a chi and it works really well so far but it's starting to make my hair frizz out and i know i need something to protect my hair from the heat. any recommendations for really good products for heat protection specifically that i could get at either shopko or sally beauty for under 6 dollars?

If you are going to Sally's, ask the girls that work there. They will know which product works the best. I have asked their advise several times and they never steer me wrong.
Or, you could try one of the Paul Mitchell products or Bed Head. Sally's will have an equivalent to one of those products for a reasonable price.

I use hair stragteners almost every day, as my hair is naturally wavy and kinky and never stays stright. Im goinon holiday very soon, and i need something to protect my hair from burning up and going like straw.

i have naturally curly hair too!!
and i straighten it all the time.
i use studio heat seeker straightening cream from loreal.
put it on while your hair is wet and it works great. it protects ur hair and helps it straighten.
and if u ever want to leave ur hair curly it helps with curl control.
i bought mine at walmart.
