RAN OUT OF GEL!!! WHAT can I USE??

im wearing my hair in a pony tail but the front of my hair wont stay down because i ran out of gel and i tried using water to keep my hair down but it wont work..does anyone know what i can use if i ran out of gel like what home products i can use (i dont have any hair spray) please dont say anything where i have to go to the store because i dont have time to go.And dont sugesst a different hairstyle.

oddly enough eggs will work...so will school glue (but don't use alot of either or it will be plastered to your head, that's what my friend uses to keep up his mohawk)

Homemade Hair Gel

1/2 to 1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin

1 cup warm water

Dissolve gelatin in 1 cup warm water. Keep refrigerated and use as you would a purchased gel.

Homemade Hair Gel 2

Ingredients:

1). 1 pkg. Unflavored Gelatin

2). One Cup Sugar Water

Process:

1). Combine one package Gelatin with one cup warm sugar water; Note: the more sugar diluted in the water, the stickier. I suggest about a teaspoon.

2). Let sit till desired consistency is achieved.

3). Apply to hair like regular gel.

Homemade Scented Hair Gel

1 cup water

2 Tbls. flax seed

2 drops scented oil - your choice of scent

-Combine water and seeds in a small saucepan.

-Bring to a boil then remove from heat.

-Allow to set for a half an hour.

-Strain through fine colander.

-When completely cooled, add scented oil.

-Transfer to a wide-mouthed jar with lid.

Notes: Use as you would any hair gel product.

this works fr me......

.hold a blowdryer downwards on your bangs on medium or high heat , when your hair is wet... do that until its almost dry.. dont do it too often it'll burn your hair off !!! ..

Try using conditioner - leave it on your wet hair when you wash it or put some on dry hair - sparingly tho.
