I have dance auditions tomorrow and my "booty" shorts just won't stop riding. The auditions are for a very prestigious AFL team and I want to look good. Some say hair spray does it, but I am thinking this is when the shorts are to your skin. But I have to wear tights, hence my dilemma. With wearing tights (dance flesh colored tights) underneath my shorts, how do I get them to stay in place? I don't want to use spray adhesive because I am worried the shorts won't separate from the tights afterwards and I spent way too much money on these items to just have to throw them away after this audition.

Double sided tape especially made for clothes. You should then be able to remove it.

I think you could very likely use regular double stick tape as well - it should work - and then you'll have to take it off your clothes carefully but it should be doable. Otherwise, use the specialized stuff (hollywood) or something you can buy in a sewing store (they should have fabric tape).
