Hairspray!?

whats the stuff in hairspray that's bad for the environment?

is this stuff still used in hairspray that's sold today?

would garnier fructis style shake effect liqui-gel be considered hair spray (as in, is it harmful to the environment)

are there any alternatives (if hairspray is that bad)

Hairspray!?

Aerosol.

No Garnier Fructis doesnt use an ingredients that are harmful to the environment.

All name brand hairsprays today should be without aerosol. But the cheap ones you buy at bargain stores are still probably made with aerosol. so if you'd like to save the environment I suggest you stay away from them.

Hairspray!?

the aerosol hairspray that like, killed the ozone layer was actually banned like, 30 years ago.

Hairspray!?

Aerosol.

Most brands got rid of it though.

Probably not.

There are many brands that don't have aerosol anymore.

Hairspray!?

Aerosol was the chemical, which destroyed O3 (ozone). They stopped putting this chemical in cans in around the 1970's.

There is basically no hairspray product out there now that has it anymore, so you're good.
