Black Widows?

I had just found a black widow in my garage. My dad destroyed the web, and tried to spray it with hair spray. But the spider got away, and went under the dry wall. It was a very big one. Can the spider get into my house from under the dry wall??

Black Widows?

The bad news is that the spider could find some crack between the wall and floor or wall and ceiling if it wanted to enter your house. The good news is that black widows prefer dark, dank enclosed spaces frequented by other insects, so it will be happy to stay inside the wall. The cleaner, brighter and largely insect free interior of your home is far less desirable for a black widow, and its unlikely that the spider will make an effort to enter. Next time use wasp and hornet spray, it kills them instantly.

Black Widows?

possibly. if there is a crack in the dry wall, that lead to inside your house(be cautious , black widows are venomous!)

Black Widows?

Sure if it can find a hole it can get through watch for them where theirs one there is most likely many more

Black Widows?

More than likely, yes. And they're very venomous. Don't let your guard down.

Black Widows?

Yes, insects are tricky. I have ants come out of my drywall (Ive watched them come out from between the floor and wall). The only thing I can say look for any openings and seal them up or you could hire a Terminix person....Ive known someone who hired a pest control service and the pest people came out and soon after, they were sweeping up dead spiders. It killed all spiders in the house, attic, walls, and surrounding the house (including egg sacs).

I would say "bomb" the house with the foggers, but Im not sure if it would be effective inside walls.

Black Widows?

spiders can go anywhere they want! if there is a crack to crawl into they will be there!!! best thing is to go buy spider spray to spray in all areas of where the web is/ was....

or you can find the web and put a live cricket or fly on the web to draw out the spider then kill it!!!!

HAIR SPRAY DOES NOT WORK!!!!! unless you have a flame in front of spray when spraying!!!
